What is the BLT?
BLT is what I consider the Best Little Trailer, a 2011 17-foot Casita Liberty Deluxe that is the full-time home for me and my canine crew, Bridget and Spike.
What is the PTV?
PTV stands for the Perfect Tow Vehicle that takes us places. It's a 2005 Chevy Express van with a V-8, 5.3 liter engine and equipped with a 200-watt solar panel mounted on the roof.-

Goodbye, Darby Wells and Ajo, AZ
I email Starlight Solar in Yuma to set up an appointment. The company is recommended by a friend of Rick’s. Since I don’t know anything about solar businesses in Yuma, one recommendation is enough. In my email to Larry, the … Continue reading

There’s no limit to the boondocking fun
A guy in a white car with two round lights mounted on top drives up the lane. He touches his hat and smiles a greeting and continues on to Wolfgang and Kathy’s camp. Turning around slowly he goes back down the lane. I … Continue reading

Rain on the roof
It’s another rainy, cloudy day here in southern Arizona. (Today’s photos are from a previous, sunnier day.) I don’t bother to put the crew in their suits for the first potty break this morning. Spike hates rain so I can … Continue reading
